Most companies are secretive about who they outsource data annotation to, but it's impossible to find a company that was involved in data annotation for Face ID. It's possible that for Face ID, collecting and annotating the data was handled without an outside company being involved. Some of the data probably came from the companies Apple acquired to make Face ID in the first place.
